About Amboseli National Park

Amboseli lies at the foot of Kilimanjaro, and the mountain stands behind almost every drive.

A day here

Early drives as elephants cross the open plains with Kilimanjaro behind them, a climb up Observation Hill for the view over the park, and a quiet midday at the lodge. The afternoon drive runs as the light turns gold.

Getting there

By road south from Sweetwaters. Our fifteen-day journey spends two nights here, then crosses into Tanzania at Namanga and drives on to Arusha.
